Yakira Kennedy, CEO of Right Paths R Us (RPRU), brings over 25 years of dedicated experience supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities.

 

Yakira began her career teaching computer skills in a day habilitation program and has never left the field. Her passion for serving others has guided her through a range of roles including Direct Care Worker, Residential Supervisor, and Program Specialist.

 

She earned her undergraduate degree in Human Development and Family Studies, where she discovered her calling in helping families navigate and connect with critical resources to care for their loved ones.

 

For the past three years, Yakira has worked as a Supports Broker, assisting families in accessing the services and supports they need. As CEO of RPRU, she is committed to sharing knowledge, empowering others, and building a community where families and individuals feel supported every step of the way. Yakira’s goals are simple yet profound: to ensure that no one walks this journey alone and to inspire others to benefit in their communities.
